Boiler, gas-converted Winkler with 'new June 1962' scratched on top
(with old oil [?] burner on floor to L)
01.jpg
New June 1962 - etched in, way
better than a $#@!! marker
that will fade!
03.jpg
Boiler plate (can I call it that?) -
marked as (maybe) model 91C-3
(but is that marked over on purpose?),
serial # E-14581, etc., 83000 BTU/hr.
04.jpg
Pressure & TпїЅ gauges.
06.jpg
Expansion tank above

The ca. 1975 Adams Speedflame
HP 200A gas burner conversion

Closer view of same
(made in china, frowny face)

What does either adjust ?

Asbestos insulation in
crawlspace under living room
09.jpg
Thermostat: replaced with intact ca. 1992
verrsion of same from restore.
(I have no desire for some 'smart' hunkajunk -
tracking me & demanding I-phone attention,
I will always be Way smarter than
a thermostat and can turn the dialmyself!

This works just right AND matches my
old wood wall, since it's not 'martha
stewart wall white
' - as all new ones are -
to match every american interior since 1992 ...
perhaps soon they'll all be a dismal gray to
match the next 30 years of ugly wall color
stupidity...)
10.jpg
Dining room & east radiator.
Note ceiling fan (4 in house)!
Also my thermometer on floor...
11.jpg
Living room: north/front
& east side radiators
06.jpg
Downstairs most rooms have
these ca. 1940s (estimated major
'modernization' date) type of wall
radiator, which works OK and
looks OK when sanded primed &
painted with the walls as here
13.jpg
Front (north) upstairs
sitting room & radiators...
14.jpg
Closer view-painted gold,
with humidifier...
15.jpg
... & nice old bakelite valve.
16.jpg
Another view:
"Cameo - Weil-McLain Co"
17.jpg
Heavily painted one in former
upstairs kitchenette (to be
my darkroom & print shop!
)
18.jpg
Beauty in upstairs loo:
19.jpg
"American Radiator Co."
20.jpg
Under kitchen counter. What's
the small copper tube for?
21.jpg
It's behind metal screen door
cabinet-is this reasonable?
23.jpg
Similar in downstairs loo,
with cover & dust...
24.jpg
In laundry room adj. to kitchen
(brightest room in house &
the only south-facing one!)
25.jpg
Attic well insulated-a lone bat
there right 3rd rafter from vent!
26.jpg
Needs paint but wood-not vinyl!
Signs of wall insulation: plugs
27.jpg
what's this 'water' cover
(broken) on lawn go to?
Shutoff of some sort?
30.jpg
Front view/north face: a $40k
UP house! I need to restore a
full width porch for proper
balance- if I can move that tree
