front
(note QR brake cable hanger, the green tape end flourish, the NOS brake levers, the NOS Suntour stainless wound gear cable)

631
(note the perfect brake cable bend, the top of top cable-through guides, and of course the fine brazing .. Thinking of maybe lug-lining maybe later)

pedals & half clips
A perfect MKS set: pedals, flips, and 'deep' half clips (deep = tall; can wear anything from touring shoes to hiking boots in them).

Bars & shifters. This illustrates that I'm not the best (bar) wrapper - it's tight over the Grab-ons, but exhibits here what I might call the 'disheveled mummy' look. Which is good enough, of course.
(note the Suntour bar-end shifters & matching stainless gear cables with out-the-middle routing [and slightly 'disheveled mummy-look' cloth bar wrap over some Velox rim tape reinforcement], and almost-matching grey Z Milano brake cables with [near-] perfect lever to cable curve)

fork
Leaning because bike on kickstand! (note the maybe I'll cut and file or maybe I'll leave as-is mudguard stay end curve, the 40-spoke wheel [if you were to count], & the 'custom two-tone' brake yoke)

Laprade
(note the Campag QR binder, Brooks Flyer springs, perfect cable curve again, and of course the SR Laprade pillar itself - which I raised a little more after this photo when riding; the flutes are now perfectly centered equidistant between the pillar top and seat lug, so there.)

rear mech & dork disc
Dangitall!! I forgot to clean the oil off the DD before photographing! Anyway, note the heavy-chromed [probably via methods now illegal and thus better than we'll ever see again] 'Suntour 38' DD, the beautiful silver NOS freewheel & Sram PC-870 chain, the Ti Cycles US-made dropout adjusters, etc., etc.

seat lug
Brev. Camp. Also note the nice weld on the US-made Jandd Rack and the 'extra' barrel braze-on on back of seat tube.

SS CS protector!
Worthy of a shallow depth of field glamour shot because so rare, useful, and silver!

chainset, Canadian content
Note the first Canadian-made velo-part I've used since my early 80s CCM frame that I bought unfinished when CCM went bankrupt. Also note no Autex chainset bolt: I'm full out of stock!

QR hanger, QR seat pin binder
I specified to leave the brazed-on hanger off because that doesn't allow a QR, which is constantly a useful thing to have. This is a NOS Shimano.

cables
(Note grey brake & stainless wound gear cables; and dig those beautiful 'bronze translucent' Modolo 919 'anatomic' hoods on the Superbe Pro levers - dang that's a nice set!)

pedals & half clips 2
Just a nice photo I think, with good detail. Note a little crank arm rubbing to used chainset (polished further by me during the build for extra-beauty-full-ness).

bell & green flair
Lion bell, made in England, beautiful to behold and to hear. Effective, too - I ring it sometimes while riding just to enjoy it or salute the landscape, and it always gets heard by pedestrians and fellow cyclists alike.

Rough Stuff Fellowship 60th anniversary & Minoura cages
The cages are similar quality to those of the early 80s /and/ silver /and/ Japanese made /and/ reasonably cheap so noteworthy compared to most all other new cages; not much more to say; maybe the French Zefal bottle, too.

Levin
The (great) Tange Levin headset: my favourite for 35 years now! Note also pump peg and top tube extra barrel braze-on [for maybe holding in place a snapshot camera holster for on the road pictures], QR cable hanger, some cat fur or dust, a few smudges I forgot to polish off, nice wound Suntour NOS stainless gear cables, etc.
