More bike & trike stuff on my velo pages.

Back half.
Including Jandd rack (which holds my Carradice bag just perfectly)

Jandd rack
Standard ' model, in silver. I didn't realize I had this in 'stock' until I was putting the Kibo together. Perfect for just 'riding around'!

Fran the Cat
And some other stuff in b/g.

Midsection
Can it be called the 'thorax'? Probably not. OK, bottles, drivetrain, pedals in the spotlight too.

Seat binder
Or the region thereof. Lookit that nice cable routing and hanger!

Jandd rack
Platform of. Slightly used, in silver. I polished it up some then car-waxed it (as everything else on this bike). Very sturdy.

rear and rack 2
Note also reflector, that the grass isn't green yet, and those huge seat springs! (in reality they don't bend so much as look cool - too bad they're not chromed, though.

bars stem levers bell
(note Nitto stem, extension-mounted Lion bell
with extra Velox rim tape as scratch-guard, more
of that nice cable-curve action, etc.)

1960s reflector.
These are the type with plastic or metal backs with a bold. I don't know the size because the're not metric. Say 3/32, or 5/19, or 2/34. Close to M3 maybe. I bought a few of these offa eb about 10 years
ago; thought I had more, but only found this one
in my parts stash; there are two (blue &
orange) on the 830. I found a couple more 'medium' ones a little bigger than these (red & green I think). I'll need more for the
Skyelander.

With its friend the 1984 Trek 830 in front
of Barr's Bar, Ishpeming on the first
ride.
This is an 'interim research stop' on our
'Marquette County's six beer factory tour'
(MC6BFT), as they don't make their own beer but
it's still a friendly tavern. Note also Carradice
'junior' saddlebag on Kibo [Jandd 'rack trunk' on
the 830]. Note also the nice day.

At Tino's Saloon in Negaunee with Trek
830.
This is the place with the 'gold standard' of
cudighi, so although they also don't make their
own beer it was required ('Old Style' beer on
tap).

On wood with the 830 again.
Midpoint between Negaunee & Marquette. The
wood smelled great. High contrast thus 'fun'
view, I guess.

In front of the Vierling in
Marquette.
This place makes good beer (and has the
longest-serving brewer [~21 years!] among the
300+ Michigan breweries [the vast majority of
which are less than 21 years old]), but was so
chock-full of yuppies on a Saturday night
[Marquette's full of them now and this place is
also a fancy restaurant] that it was nice to
admire the decorations a bit and drink the beer
efficiently, then coast away downhill the block
or two to the slightly less yuppie-saturated but
also comparatively less well-decorated ore Docks
Brewing [the delightful decorations in the
Vierling include an old sailing ship model, a
French 'Brasserie Lengrand' beer poster with
picture of frog drinking beer through straw and
accidentally falling off of barstool into beer, a
100 year-old Marquette map, a nice seascape,
etc.].
